Character & Leadership Development Programs

Programs in Character and Leadership Development empower youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self‐image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.



Youth of the Month & Year
For Ages 14‐18; September through April
The Club’s premiere recognition program. Each month the Club recognizes an outstanding member. The Annual winner goes on to represent BGCSTL at the State competition.
Torch Clubs
For Ages 11‐13; yearlong and on‐going
Kids identify Club and community needs, develop programs and activities and actively participate in their community.
Eagle of the Month & Year
For Ages 6‐10; September through April
Monthly and annual winners participate in programs to enhance service to the Club, community and family; academic performance; life goals; and public speaking ability.
Keystone Clubs
For Ages 14‐18; yearlong and on‐going
Teens learn to be self‐sufficient leaders; elect their own officers; plan and implement their own activities, community service and trips.
Kids Club
For ages 6‐10; yearlong and on‐going
Through fun activities, kids support their Club and community and learn to respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
