Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is currently looking for qualified individuals to work in a variety of capacities. BGCSTL provides a safe place for children to learn and grow. Our mission is to inspire and enable youth ages 6 to 18 to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. AmeriCorps Member Positions
2 Part Time Positions (1 year of service beginning 9/2/2014)
AmeriCorps Members will lead, guide and mentor Club youth directly, focusing on helping them make positive gains in the areas of literacy, math, and healthy living. To achieve these goals, Members will be responsible for creating, implementing and evaluating wholesome and constructive learning activities for youth grades K-12. They will model positive behaviors and attitudes, empower youth to succeed, and seek out unique ways to improve the quality of existing programming. Potential applicants must be at least 18 years of age with proof of high school graduation.
Living Allowance, Training, Education Award upon successful completion of service
Must be available Monday – Friday, between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm (20-25 hours per week)
Permits attendance at school during off hours, Car recommended, Permits working at another job during off hours
