Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL celebrated “Panda Cares Day” at BGC Adams Park Club (APC), located at 4317 Vista Ave., St. Louis, Mo., on August 28, 2025.Panda Cares serves as the foundational nonprofit arm of Panda Express. In 2023, BGCSTL marked the opening of the beautifully renovated Center of Hope culinary and arts space.

On Panda Cares Day, APC Club members will enjoy a delicious, individually packaged meal that includes fortune cookies. Additionally, each member will receive two new Scholastic books and a Puma backpack. This event is a wonderful opportunity to help kids and teens get on the right path as they embark on a new school year.

The Center of Hope is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with laptops and essential tools for arts and crafts, cooking, and preparation.

Through a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), Panda Cares established the Center of Hope at BGCSTL Adams Park Club to provide crucial resources and support through Project Learn. This initiative offers youth various high-yield and enrichment programs aimed at fostering learning, character development, academic success, and college readiness.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. BGCSTL provides after-school, teen, sports, and summer programs to youth across the Bi-State Region while also providing a safe place for them to learn and grow. The Clubs serve youth across the region at twelve locations, including (Adams Park Club, Hazelwood Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Mathews-Dickey Club, and the Teen Center of Excellence). We also operate Mentor St. Louis and the St. Louis Internship Program.
