Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) Youth of the Year title is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive and a signature national youth recognition program that celebrates the recipient’s contributions to their family, school, community, and their Club. This year six BGCSTL candidates are vying for the prestigious honor. BGCSTL announces Youth of the Year at the Great Futures Gala at Energizer Park, Home of St. Louis CITY SC, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 6 p.m.  The bright lights of CITY SC will bring a once in a lifetime experience for participants at the largest fundraising event for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis. Last year’s event raised $650,000 for Club kids and teens!

Meet our Youth of the Year candidates:  

D’Aura T. – Teen Center of Excellence Club member.

Logan G.  – Teen Center of Excellence Club member.

Aliyah P.  – Teen Center of Excellence Club member.

Austin N – Bethalto Club member.

Antrell W. – Teen Center of Excellence Club member

Marleyna S. – Bethalto Club member. 

The six candidates are now preparing for their official interviews before a panel of judges.  Four finalists attend the Great Futures Gala, where the Youth of the Year is announced.  The winner and runners-up receive a scholarship. A big highlight for the winner is a vehicle courtesy Frank Leta Automotive.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. BGCSTL provides after-school, teen, sports and summer programs to youth across the Bi-State Region while also providing a safe place for them to learn and grow. The Clubs serve youth across the region at twelve locations, including (Adams Park Club, Bethalto Club, Hazelwood Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Mathews-Dickey Club, and the Teen Center of Excellence). We also operate Mentor St. Louis and the St. Louis Internship Program.
