Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis’ Mathews-Dickey Club will host the second annual High School Hoops Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Normandy High School’s Viking Hall, bringing together student-athletes, coaches and families for a day focused on teamwork, leadership and community engagement.

The tournament highlights the importance of athletics as a tool for youth development while providing a positive, high-energy environment for local high school players to showcase their skills. The event also reinforces Boys & Girls Clubs’ commitment to creating safe, structured opportunities that support young people both on and off the court.
“This tournament is about more than basketball,” said Brandon Williams, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis. “It’s about building character, confidence and connections for our youth while bringing the community together around something positive.”
Coaches and players from participating schools will be available for interviews, along with Williams, who will discuss the role of sports in youth development and the broader impact of Boys & Girls Clubs programming.
