January 2015 – Eagle of the Month
Aspen C. is 8 years old and a second grader at Adams. This is Aspen’s first year with our program. Aspen’s teacher suggested that she work with a mentor who was very assertive and able to inspire her to read more and come out of her shell. Faith L (Edward Jones)ended up being that person. Now 4 months later, Aspen is a bright and energetic leader in her 2nd grade class room. Her teacher says that she knows it was Aspen’s mentor that helped her become the confident student she is today.
