SAINT LOUIS AUTO DEALERS ASSOCIATION DONATES $100,000 TO BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF GREATER ST. LOUIS TO SUPPORT NORTH COUNTY INITIATIVES

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) humbly received an $100,000 donation from the Saint Louis Auto Dealers Association to support the agency’s efforts of providing after-school, summer, teen and other youth programs in the North St. Louis County area.

In 2015, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis significantly expanded its footprint in the North County area to serve youth ages 6-18. It was already operating two Clubs in the Hazelwood School District (Southeast Middle School Club and Grannemann Elementary School Club) but have since opened two new Clubs in the Ferguson/Florissant District (Ferguson Middle School and Lee Hamilton Elementary School Clubs) and, the Riverview Gardens Club (Highland Elementary School Club) in Fall 2016. The opening of these Clubs and this donation allows BGCSTL to serve more youth, and have a greater impact in those communities.

About the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is to inspire and enable youth ages 6 to 18 to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. For nearly 50 years, BGCSTL has been providing after-school, teen, sports and summer programs to youth in the St. Louis area while also providing a safe place for them to learn and grow. The Clubs now serve St. Louis youth at eight locations (Adams Park Club, Ferguson Middle School Club, Grannemann Elementary School Club, Herbert Hoover Club, Lee Hamilton Elementary School Club, O’Fallon Park Club, Hazelwood Southeast Middle School Club and Riverview Gardens Club) and within several other schools (including Normandy High School and Roosevelt High School) and through our Mentor St. Louis Program. We are also a proud member of the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
