Danielle is proving that big dreams can lead to extraordinary careers. After earning a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2025, Danielle joined Amentum as an Environmental Control Systems Operations Engineer, supporting NASA’s Artemis missions at the Kennedy Space Center. She also serves as communications chair for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics’ Cape Canaveral Section.
Kain continues to give back by leading STEM programming for youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s Cocoa Branch, inspiring young people to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
“The STEM programming at the Club encouraged me to pursue an engineering career,” Danielle said. “The Youth of the Year program also strengthened my writing, interviewing and public speaking skills, which have been invaluable throughout my career.”
As a Club member, Kain also found a love for music through the Music Studio program, where she learned to play piano and guitar and developed her passion for singing.
From Club kid to NASA engineer, Danielle’s journey is a testament to how Boys & Girls Clubs help young people discover their potential and achieve their dreams.
