Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis proudly welcomes DeMaurice F. Smith to the annual Jim Butler Memorial Golf Classic on Monday, June 22, at Norwood Hills Country Club.
Smith served as Executive Director of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) for 14 years, leading players through the historic 2011 lockout and several high-profile labor negotiations. A former federal prosecutor and published author, he currently serves as a visiting professor of law at Pepperdine University.

In addition to the tournament festivities, two BGCSTL Club members will be recognized for demonstrating exemplary sportsmanship, leadership, and character.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis serves more than 18,000 youth annually through summer camp, after-school programming, sports, educational enrichment and recreational opportunities for youth ages 6-18 throughout the Bi-State region.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
